Privacy Policy for BCA Technologies

Scope

This policy covers the privacy practices that BCA Technologies employs when providing services to its customers. In order to let you know how we treat your information, it is important to make a distinction between information that BCA Technologies has about its customers ("Customer Information") and data we keep on file, some of which has to do with our customers' employees, vendors, partners, and suppliers.

Customer Information

Customer Information is information that is part of the interaction between us and the people who visit BCA Technologies to purchase products/services or directly interact with BCA Technologies on www.bcatech.com, www.officegt.com, or its subsidiary sites or through our conferences, publications, education programs, store or sales operations. Customer information includes both online and offline collection of information, and both direct (registration forms, etc.) and automated (cookies, etc.) collection of information.
Customer Information is typically data that resides with BCA Technologies, Customer or Third-party systems (including both outsourcing environments and test, development and production environments accessed as part of our services. This policy applies to the personally identifiable information that may be provided or accessed as a result of these outsourcing, consulting and/or support services. BCA Technologies treats customer Information according to the terms of this policy, and treats customer information as confidential in accordance with the terms of the relevant agreement between you and BCA Technologies under which BCA Technologies agrees to provide services.

The following example may help further clarify Customer Information. "A Client" contracts with BCA Technologies for outsourcing software services. When accessing www.bcatech.com, www.officegt.com and when contracting with BCA Technologies, then customer provides information about itself to BCA Technologies, including its name, address, billing information, and some employee contact information for those who will administer the contract. BCA Technologies web site may also collect some information about the customer and some employees as part of that interaction. All of that information is Customer Information, and is treated according to our Privacy Policy. Having contracted with BCA Technologies for outsourcing software services, the customer then provides BCA Technologies with access to its production-outsourcing environment, which may include personal information about its employees, customers, partners or suppliers. This policy covers the personal information that is provided to or accessed by BCA Technologies or in any personal information that may be collected as part of BCA Technologies resulting interactions that deal with the customer’s personal information.
